Yakutsk GRES-2 was equipped with SMES

Light and heat. Since ancient times these most important resources have been the basis of people's lives. Therefore, special attention was paid to their protection. Now people learned to build stations that give these resources to millions of people. One of such objects was Yakutsk GRES-2.

To protect against accidents and emergency situations, the station, as an object of increased responsibility, is equipped with the MSSS in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the district administration of the city of Yakutsk. The engineering center of Civil Defense Forces "BASIS" carried out work on the development of working documentation, the supply of equipment and materials, the introduction of the MSS of Yakutsk SDPP-2. The result of the works was the complex tests successfully completed on August 10, 2018, with connection to the Unified Trotting and Dispatching Service (EDDS) in Yakutsk, the Republic of SAKHA (Yakutia).
