Technical Regulation on the Customs Union. Information Support.

On February, 26, 2013, Federal State Unitary Enterprise "STANDARTINFORM" together with Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification (BelGISS) held a seminar on "Technical regulation of the Customs Union. Dataware."

The workshop addressed issues on an Integrated Information Center in the field of technical regulation on the basis of FSUE "STANDARTINFORM" BelGISS and KazInSt, as well as issues of functioning of the automated information system of the Customs Union and the terms of cooperation for the dissemination of the system within the partner network.

The seminar was attended by Deputy Chief of Rosstandart, Mr. A.Zazhigalkin, Deputy Head of Development, Information and Accreditation Ms. I.Efanova, Director of Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification Mr. V.Gurevich, Representatives of Subordinate Rosstandart Research and Educational Organizations, as well as the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Certification.

Seminar participants endorsed the Agreement on joint activities in the field of information in the field of technical regulations of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, signed by the heads of FSUE "STANDARTINFORM" BelGISS KazInSt on February, 4, 2013. They also spoke about the need to refer to official leadership of the Eurasian Economic Community in terms of cooperation in the Integrared Information Center for the Customs Union and the possibility of inclusion in the minutes of the board meeting of the EurAsEC discussion of this issue.
